Welcome #2...

Well - as technology would have it, I needed to recreate my blogger account. My apologies to those who have posted and I have not responded to yet. I will soon. I placed those postings under a temporary set-up, so they may not have the original links or date time tags associated with it. I am sure I will get this to work, one day. :)

My original Welcome message follows:
I've started a new Journal/Blog so I can keep you informed of my travel, experiences and thoughts. I hope you can come and visit often, add some of your own comments, say "hi", tell me who you are, among other things.

There may be very little in there to start, as this is all new to me, so be patient with my postings. I do travel quite a bit to different cities, states and countries for performances.

Ms. Price: You made an appearance in East Lansing, at the MSU School of Music--I was there. I mentioned that I was an executive from "Sony"--well, I'm not, but I wish I were--then I could sign you for a lucrative contract matching your talents. My father played jazz piano in high school and college and, as a result, I grew up listening to jazz. Suffice it to say that you have chops and that you will enjoy great success. :)

Ms. Price: Well, I half expected you to reply today :( Anyway, I know you are a busy person, and, anyway, you don't know me from Adam, but we are fellow Baha'is :) I really respected the comments you made at the MSU Music School about your perspective regarding your singing as praise of God. I think God likes jazz :) Take care, write soon!

Hi! Saw your concert at Clemson last night, where I'm a volunteer usher. Your fresh approach to "standards" is fantastic and your voice is captivating. Was disappointed you didn't have any CDs for sale...tried to find one on the net this AM w/o luck. Any advice? In any event, much continued success and hope to see you in person again real soon!

As someone who has worked in technology for some time (since the 70's ;) I am well aware that at some points it may seem unmanageable, all this blog stuff and whatnot. Stay at it. :)

Love your music and your web site!

Ms. Price: As far as I'm concerned, your http://www.rachelpricesings.com/ website needs a "BuyMyMusic" link :) Or, is there somewhere on the web to where you and your agent would refer prospective buyers?

Hi Rachael,
I saw you in Brazil, with T.S. Monk at Boubon Street, Sao Paulo. I was quite impressed with your voice and talent. Hope you came back to Brazil for a show. I've got a few music samples and showed to many friends here, and they loved.
But i can't find your album, so i'm just waiting it to be launched here.
